Terms of Use
These terms explain the shared expectations for using Paf Trade and arranging exchanges through the marketplace.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accepting these terms, you agree to follow the marketplace rules and applicable law. Use accurate details, only use accounts you are authorized to access, and ensure you have legal capacity or any guardian permission required for your use and transactions. PAF Trade is not an emergency service. University branding and verified email marks do not guarantee institutional endorsement.
2. Your account and content
You are responsible for the content you submit and transactions you arrange, including permissions for photos and other people’s personal information. Protect your password, do not share accounts, and report suspected compromise. This does not make you responsible for failures or unlawful conduct attributable to the operator. You retain your content rights and grant the team permission to host, resize, display, and moderate it as necessary to run the service.
3. Prohibited conduct and listings
Do not upload adult-only or indecent material, exploitative content, private or intimate images shared without consent, hateful or abusive material, threats, harassment, other people’s private information without permission, scams, impersonation, counterfeit or stolen goods, weapons, illegal drugs, or other unlawful or unsafe goods or services. Do not infringe copyright or privacy, spam, bypass restrictions, misuse verification badges, or attempt unauthorized access. Any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the abuse or exploitation of children is strictly prohibited.
4. Transactions and community support
Buyers and sellers arrange payment, delivery, inspection, and disputes directly. Check an item and seller before paying; meet safely and do not share verification codes. PAF Trade does not process marketplace payments, inspect every item, insure transactions, or guarantee quality or authenticity. Community support counts and email verification are not financial guarantees or identity checks. Users remain responsible for their lawful transaction obligations.
5. Reports and moderation
Report unsafe listings through the ad’s report action or contact in-app support. Administrators and ambassadors can remove listings; administrators can suspend accounts and investigate abuse. Listings are not all reviewed before publication. Decisions and staff actions are recorded, and you may contact support to request review. We may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with valid legal requests under applicable law. For imminent danger, contact the appropriate local authorities.
6. Availability and limitations
The service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, capacity limits, provider failures, or security incidents. Keep your own records of important transactions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of user content. Nothing here excludes rights or operator duties that cannot lawfully be excluded, or guarantees protection from all fraud or security incidents.
7. Changes, closure and questions
You can stop using the app and request account deletion from Profile. We may restrict access for rule violations and update these terms with notice of material changes. Contact the PAF Trade team through support for account recovery, moderation review, privacy questions, or disputes. Applicable mandatory law continues to apply.
